Feeding Ben And The Rest Of Our Community
Ben has brown hair and loves dinosaurs and wants so badly to do well in school. But Ben has already been labeled the “naughty kid.” He can’t sit still in class, he doesn’t connect with friends, and his school work is slipping. Ben’s future, at the young age of 7, looks grim.
But what if… Ben is just hungry?
Right now in Clark County, 1 in 4 children struggle with food insecurity and may not know where their next meal will come from. The stress of food insecurity and the impact of hunger can be detrimental to a child's ability to focus in school, socialize with his peers, and reach his full potential. We can’t expect children with growling tummies to focus on anything other than finding food.
Today, YOU have the power to help. Every dollar donated to Clark County Food Bank provides 4 meals-worth of food to hungry people. Your support today could mean the difference between a child who struggles to survive and one who thrives. YOU have the power to feed Ben.
We would also love to donate to this great cause on your behalf...

*Ben represents all the 27,000 children in Clark County who leave school on Fridays worried about having enough food over the weekend and return to class on Monday with empty stomachs, unable to learn. Ben also represents our opportunity, as a community, to provide the foundational support a child needs to grow and reach his fullest potential.
